Hi.

My name is Charmaine. I'm passionate about life, love, and tequila shots.

I'm an academic and International Relations is my playground. I travel -- for work, mostly -- but I hate packing my suitcase.

I'm Will's betrothed. I'm marrying the love of my life, and he gave me a rock that I hope to the highest heavens was mined ethically.

I like how yoga quiets the mind, and how much of a rockstar I felt when I finally got my heels on the ground on down dog. I like how swimming is a series of coordinated movements, like vinyasa. I hate the gym and running, but I'll do it if a cold beer awaits at the end. I like how yarn transforms from an unassuming skein to a gorgeous creation with only a knit and purl. I like food but I don't cook. I like racing but won't get inside a race car unless I'm in a race suit. I talk to myself when I'm gaming. I love conversations and coffee. And cake.

This blog celebrates humanity, interconnectedness, fallibilities, and the fluidity of our existence. And tequila shots, we celebrate those here too.
